Btw, this team doesn't look real:

Code: Select all

# OD! (Arduino (arduino@forums), Blitz, Deso, Cube)
arduino@forums doesn't exist, so they shouldn't be put on the challenge board unless the account has been made by the time of the team randomizations.

Thank you poke, I will add this team to my list of questionable teams to show.
I have some teams that will be added to the brackets.. and if these teams don't show the opposing teams will just move on. The teams that I have put on hold (due to cycling of servers) are the teams in which I am sure are too unorganized to attend even though they signed up.

Thanks to sine for contributing to the servers.

Please make sure to sign your team up before Feb 6th. Brackets will be posted later that day.

alrighty, but keep in mind that if we have a total of 8 servers, 24 teams max IS possible without having to break rounds into two different times. (16 fill up the "sweet 16" spots, and then 8 of those (randomly chosen) face the other 8 teams in the 32 team round before that, which means no more than 8 games will be taking place at once if 24 or less teams sign up.)

so you suggest to use this time 32 team brackets or 16? it is still possible with 16 if some teams (4 max) start since second round. (with this scheme 20 teams max is possible)

What we're saying is that even with a 32 team bracket, there won't be more than 8 matches going on at once unless there's more than 24 teams. (@Tru)

Added CTF blurb to the Competition Hub.

Missing blurbs is one of my peeves. I use the wiki a lot to keep up with tournament stuff. And "CTFtrouney" is kind of a bogus name for a page, but whatever. Still, it looks more official, no? :D

Oh much appreciated sine! & we debated having the name be something like the spork but it didn't really catch on.. oh well lol
Tru said that he would test all the servers that are up today to find the issues that need to be fixed.
I just posted the brackets so go check it out! :)
Anyways Best of Luck to all teams!

+1 sine. Hopefully we'll get some more teams with that advertisement there in the blurb section.
