Hi,
Sometimes I see that my 'mates' are online playing.
I have something to say something to them but the problem is I don't wanna play or 'worse', I don't wanna run Arma.
I wanna be able to chat with these player trough the web. Imagine i see that 'Player 1' is playing on the server 'wildcat'.
Then a nice thing would be that i visit a certain website, log in or something and then I'm able to chat with 'Player 1' who is playing on that server.
So I chat trough a website and he chats trough arma.
So actually I'm some kind of 'spectator', just I don't wanna spectate. Could this be possible?

Re: Online chat
It should be possible to write a python script that does that, provided at least one master server and the server the people play on are protobuf-enabled (post-0.3.0 trunk code).
You won't see me doing that, however. This is a game, not a social network thing. Plus, lacking forced authentication and persistent moderation techniques, such a tool could be used for stalking or spamming someone. Just use regular out-of-game means to keep track of your friends if you feel the need to keep in touch without running the game.
