I keep changing the camera view then it "disconnects", and I have to watch it again from the start xD. I learned to leave it alone..

Hi. My bro, Spin, told me about his win and wanted me to watch the recording. I go to open up the recording with 2.8.3_rc2 and it always goes to a local game and never works. Help please?
Let me add that I might start to play some fort some more from my recent leave.
Oh and, Im laughing at his ban he got for what ever reason but im sure it pertains to how he acts around the house. He can really be a douche.

From reading that wiki page it says:

As of version 0.2.8.3 and the test versions for that, you can play back a recording simply by doubleclicking on it.

When I click on the file, which I did to begin with, it just opens up a local game with the spectator "Z-Man Recording".
I don't understand why this is not working.

And lol. Nah I am no our old computer which barely works but it does. Not really sure what he is doing without them forums he seems to check every 5 minutes. But beyond that, I really want to get this record thing working. I am probably confused and missing a major step. Do I need to install an extra program or...?

You're problem is right there. you need 0.2.8.3 (not rc2, which was a version made during development), the menu options are different, so Local Game would actually be Multiplayer in the full version.

2.8.3_rc2
2.8.3_rc1
2.8.3_beta3
2.8.3_beta2
2.8.3_beta1

So which of those would I chose to download?

I just tried it with rc1 and it didn't work. I guess I will try the recording on the beta versions and give feedback if it doesn't work there.

It would be very helpful if someone who has the recording working can simply post their version.
