I don't know anything about this "Derezzed music video," but looks like they got their inspiration from Battlezone.

A couple suggestions:
1) Could you edit the topic title to be a little more specific?
2) How about a variation with larger mountains, say 1/2 to 2/3 (if you want to get golden ratio about it) the height of the texture?
Obviously, when making them taller you'll need more room horizontally. So, you can either squeeze them vertically, then tell people to increase RIM_WALL_STRETCH_X for the basic textures. Or, maintain the ratio and do it moviepack style, spreading them over rim_wall_[a, b, c, d].png. Know what I mean?
3) I just noticed the dimensions on those rim walls. You should use power-of-two dimensions, e.g., 8 - 16 - 32 - 64 - 128 - 256 - 512 - 1024. Also, the second one, especially, doesn't need to be nearly as large as it is.

@phytotron Thanks for your suggestions. I've already change the topic and I'm currently working on the size of the images. About your second point, I think I am going to do both (squeeze & spread) and see which turns out the best.

its ok Ill jsut base my first movie pack off something else but the wall texture looks realy realy nice but the vector line hills just kinda get dwarfed in big maps (wich are pretty common realy) Could you make a version where the mountains are biger?maybe those lightning bolts too?
