Im trying to install a Tron Legacy movie pack..it says to find the "contents" folder and inside it is a recourse folder with subfolders..All I have is a recourse folder inside the directory.
C:\Program Files\Armagetron AdvancedB\resource is what the adress is, but I guess its supposed to be C:\Program Files\Armagetron Advanced\Contents\Recourse ? I've downloaded the most recent beta version from sourceforge, so am I doing something wrong? Thank you in advance for help!
which version do I need to install movie packs?
Re: which version do I need to install movie packs?
Just make a folder in your program directory named "moviepack" and place the files in there: C:\Program Files\Armagetron Advanced\moviepack
After to do that, start the program and choose moviepack:on in the menu.
After to do that, start the program and choose moviepack:on in the menu.

oh, thanks. I got the floors working but the walls (not the light cycle walls) are just white..i read somewhere that setting an option to "single" in detail menu will help, but I can't find any option with the parameter of single..
Re: which version do I need to install movie packs?
First look in the menu under "system setup>display settings>detail settings" and make sure you have wall textures on (mipmap is best). If you still don't see the walls in the moviepack, there is a chance you didn't copy them to the moviepack folder.

You're getting instructions from someone using a Mac, and bad ones at that.Natu wrote:Im trying to install a Tron Legacy movie pack..it says to find the "contents" folder and inside it is a recourse folder with subfolders.
I won't elaborate since A) it's not relevant to you, specifically; B) the proper way it should be done with Macs has been repeated several times by myself and others on this forum, and should be (though, good possibility isn't) on the wiki.
