He can't. Whenever he calls you what is inappropriate in the given context, we give him the same heat we're giving you now.

And really? You all want it to be impossible to calmly state political views here? Because if someone gets offended and throws a fit, it's the OPs fault? We may as well close the forums then.

Liz: read the other topic. L0uven for the purpose of filter evasion is A-OK by me.

Stop calling me Liz, flamebaiter. Can you please filter "Liz" so it turns into "gawdzilla"?

Maybe if you weren't such a negative person life wouldn't be so tough and if you were smarter when you were planning out your life you would have got a job in an industry with more job security.
Oh wow, I totally see the light! If only we can somehow tell this information to all the other unemployed people in the US, our problems should be solved. Can you please tweet this? That should do it.

I'm sure your friends got new jobs. Probably not hard when you live at home and work at Burger King. You can usually just go get a job at Taco Bell. Wait, what exactly is it you do again for work? And how much is your mortgage?
It's common sense jeeze sine but sure I will tell them. Atleast my friends have jobs and have homes which you can't say for yourself so please don't talk down about them. I don't have a job nor do I need one I am registering for colleges right now so I don't grow up to be a failure like yourself.

Ah yes, college. The cure for failure. I'm glad you are going; it looks like you have a lot to learn.

@INW: I never plan on owning a piece of property. Doesn't suit me.

I just recently finished a mortgage project for school and realized a lot of about borrowing money and stuff. I can see where you are coming from. (:

Interesting project. Hope you got a good grade. Although, this statement is a little sketchy: "I would rather invest $500 a month instead of $0 a month and retire with millions and not end up like most senior citizens begging for their social security."

First, there isn't likely to be any SS when you get to that age anyway, haha. But keep in mind, seniors today come from a different time period with different values. In addition, there is a lot that can happen to a person over a lifetime. Second, Social Security exists as a legal agreement, so everyone eligable to receive it has a right to it. There is no "begging" involved - only outrage at the governemt's inability to make due on their side of the contract. That statement is bordering on ageism and I would be careful about writing such stuff, especially if that site is to be used in your portfolio. Maybe say "I would rather invest $500 a month instead of $0 a month and retire with millions and not have any dependence on social security." Just sayin'

Haha yes, that would sound much better.

I related the sentence to my grandparents down the road from us...somewhat irritating but I they grew up during the Great Depression and WWII so they have come a long ways.

Nara, I believe it would have been more epic had Epsy not split the original topic. Just knowing that this started by me saying Happy Thanksgiving would make it 100x better.

Wow. I am so, so disappointed right now. After managing to maintain the peace for a while... Phytotron had the good sense to know when to stay quiet and just let everyone else dig their own graves. Which, while he's contentious, makes him a much better forums participant.

In regards to the name word filter. That was entirely my doing; not an automatic feature and not a request. My prerogative as an administrator. In light of the name changing Phytotron requested, I thought it would be neat.

Liz. I can't tell if you're being serious or not. I know you're trying to turn over a new leaf but the attitude here isn't helping. You're not getting a filter. You got a rank instead.

That's all folks.
