Hehe, relax sylla. L39 is a history now, so there should be L40 topic
2 weeks earlier or later won't make that much of a difference.

Re: Ladle 40
If the ladle does start at 12 noon for you, then there's no possible way it would end at 8pm. The longest it has gone on (starting at 1:45 est) is about 6:30ish, not nearly 8 hours.Fini wrote:No, its not too late, i just want it early.
The finals ends 8:00pm here
I want to the finals ending 7:00pm
Pls, make it start 17:45 gmt :s

Lighten up syllabear ^^
if concord wouldn't have posted it, I'd have said something instead, and it seems like some others would've as well.
Let's spread some positive vibes instead

It's a date!
Edit: Oh yeah I took the liberty of filling in the seeded teams. http://wiki.armagetronad.net/index.php? ... d#Brackets

Re: Ladle 40
@Sylla: Being a person who has done brackets and I do my part for the WST tourney. The last thing a person who has taken the time out of their day to do something like that just to have some unnecessary negative remarks from a person who has done nothing is really not a pleasant thing to have to read.
But yes I agree this is the ladle it's supposed to be fun and not a negative thing.
Good LucK to all teams in this ladle.

Brazil is either 3, 2, or 1 hours ahead of the us east coast depending on the time of the year (-2 or -3 GMT).Desolate wrote:If the ladle does start at 12 noon for you, then there's no possible way it would end at 8pm. Re: Ladle 40
Fini I think you're not taking all time zones into account with your proposal. It's quite early for the west coast americans already, and on the other end it's a bit late for most europeans.
I guess it'd be fair to vote on it, but I don't see how 19:00 could be too late.

Re: Ladle 40
We're not voting on a time change. Sorry Fini. If you were a hardcore tronner, you would revolve your life around it like the rest of us.

Re: Ladle 40
I'm US West Coast and would much rather be starting earlier. 17:45 GMT would be awesome. Why not have a time vote just to resolve any issues that may exist?Titanoboa wrote:Fini I think you're not taking all time zones into account with your proposal. +1: I'm still in the process of finding as close to a dedicated host as possible for Ladle days to replace poopy servers.kyle wrote:but maybe we can do a vote on servers
Re: Ladle 40
needs to be one hour later if anything
Re: Ladle 40
Heh, any time change will end up affecting someone negatively, move it earlier and I will sleep through the first round, move it later and I'm sure someone will have to sleep before it ends.
Could someone explain what their beef with the current time is? I hadn't seen any complaints until now.
