IP Finder
IP Finder
http://trongame.de/iplookup/
AI wrote this script to compare IPs. It is easy to access and available for everyone. It should work smoothly.
We would like to ask other server admins to provide us with their logs so we can expand its database (you can send him a PM, for example).

spooky
Re: IP Finder
What little privacy I have left I'd like to maintain. Although, Armagetron has as much privacy as a goldfish in a bowl.
Re: IP Finder
Privacy my ass, the moment you connect to a game in tron without a proxy; you give it up.
This is a really good idea from Word actually, I suspected BamBam/Rampage came back today so I'll check the IP there soon.

Re: IP Finder
The majority of name changers do it to conceal thier bad acts & ones that don't I doubt care about being traced
This will be more effective with cooperation from other server owners obviously, I presume it's using pru servers only atm?

Re: IP Finder
yeah, it's just pru fortress since that's our most frequented server.
edit: nvm...seems like some things have changed
also, if you can't find an ip at first you can try to leave out its last digits

Re: IP Finder
Some people expressed their concerns "that IPs could be abused".
The IP Finder is useless when you already don't know the IP you're looking for.

You can build a list of all players and their IP adresses by searching for 1, 2, etc.Word wrote:Some people expressed their concerns "that IPs could be abused".

Re: IP Finder

Re: IP Finder
Maybe you can do proper binary prefixes like 192.168.0/20. That corresponds to the actual blocks. And you could just say, no less than /18 or whatever. It's better than getting 6553500 addresses when you look for 123.1, but only 14336 when you enter 4.3.2. With real /18 it's always 16384.
In case you didn't know, 192.168.0/20 matches these binary addresses: 11000000(192) 10101000(168) 0000xxxx xxxxxxxx (the first 20 are not an x).
Edit: of course I'll help if you ask me.
