I wont argue with you Sine. Although, for a smart guy, your reply contradicted itself. Also, you take me too literally. The point i am making, is that simply; the large majority of those in the Armagetron grids and even of those 'accepting her apology' have at one time or another (to say the least) contributed rude behavior to others on the grid. And in fact, it is getting worse as time goes on. My post was not exploiting inner demons, rather, showing a touch of humility, that i too fall into the category i am referring to and cant accept her apology as if i am not also guilty of being rude in my own way from time to time. Ty for your opinion though Sine, always a pleasure

You think all of which she has ever been guilty are a few instances of negligible, mundane rudeness? You need to get a clue, big time.

No, I dont. :done:

I have been playing with Liz ever since she started playing Armagetron, i am perfectly aware of her previous behavior. >_< TBH, i did not expect many to reply to my post saying "Your right, i should take a good hard look at myself and try to make positive changes to promote a fun comfortable playing atmosphere on the grids". Moreover, i am getting exactly what i expected to. :ghost: "You think all of which she has ever been guilty are a few instances of negligible, mundane rudeness?" <- she is one of MANY who fall into this category. The difference is, she's showing herself to be mature enough to come out and say it and proclaim to do her best to change for the better. Mind you, I too have at times been victimized by liz' "Feisty/uncalled for" attitude/actions. But, i have put those instances far away from me.

Mm people should not be confused, Thump isn't defending me at all and I've done far worse things than just be "rude". I guess he's saying that a lot of other people in tron can be cruel (some posted here) and that they simple accept and not apologize themselves as well.

Although I have to say some people like Raiden have apologized ingame to me about some things and that was quite nice. :D

Interesting. I recall you actually kicking me from an organised game because you felt like you could, and it really pissed me off.

Anyway **** it if you are decent then I don't care good of you to get over it an I am fine to forget whatever happened in the past so as far as I am concerned we are fine!! In fact gawdzilla you are plain sexy and I look forward to owning you at fort.

Before epsy's 1 day ban on Mikey he was acting very rude and childish. After epsy's ban he seems to be spamming the forums with hate. Maybe it is time for a reminder

No, actually I still think you don't get it. Yes, many people are rude. But it's the general type of rude that 99% of us brush off and don't let bother us too much. There is no reason to apologize for that level of rudeness since we all accept it to a degree (from being guilty of it ourselves). In that sense you are correct.

However, Liz is apologizing for an exceptional amount of bad behavior, so much that she suffers from a terrible, terrible reputation. She's trying to repair the damage and start over. This thread is the signifier.

By claiming we all are like Liz, it really downplays the importance and impact of her apology.

I disagree with that Sine.

I specifically noted, "Ive been rude too in **my own way**". Im not comparing EVERYONE to Liz' level of.. immaturity in the past. Im SIMPLY stating, that we all have plenty we can work on. It doesnt matter how bad she was.. what matters is that we all try to better our actions. And, the amount of 'rudeness' you tolerate or 'brush off' is not necessarily the same amount that i tolerate. And taking that into account, that being; other people on the grid with quite possibly a lower tolerance than you. I wasnt restating Liz post, i was stating my own, which fell under the same category of 'changing for the better'. So, instead of saying "I accept your apology Liz" I was hoping to get the ball rolling toward "Thats really awesome of you Liz, I too can resolve to be a bit.. nicer on the grid". But, you insist to argue with me.

People can be douches, some more than others, some more often than others. I seriously doubt that people who accepted her apology were doing so from some kind of high horse.. Most of the people here, including myself, have been total assholes in game.. You don't really think everyone who has ever been antisocial (particularly in an anonymous online game) is going to rethink their actions and start being a better person just because it's the right thing to do, do you?

Sorry thump but; welcome to the internet lol.

Finally, i feel as if someone understands me :o

lol, As i said "I got what i expected to get". Although, I do *hope* its not completely worthless to *hope* people will atleast give it a shot. Then i wouldnt be leaving the game of armagetron because i cant stand the people on the grids anymore. But, thats just me i guess.

Saved by the 1%. You're right, 99% is not EVERYONE.
Thump wrote:Finally, i feel as if someone understands me
Less hyperbole would help make that feeling more common.

You're leaving the grids to come here and complain to the same people? Dude, just leave. We're not going to have a sub-forum for apologies.

EDIT: Oh wait, is this whole thing a cry for help? Don't go Thump, we love you!

Let's not be jerks and argue on an apology thread? Anyways, if I didnt say it before, apology accepted. You've never really been rude to me but at least this kills any possible future things problems :)

You are the one looking for the spotlight with your insisting to mock me.

And your right Scene, I apologize for aiding to turn this thread into a bad occasion. Didnt realize Sine was going to saturate me with conceited opinions.

Ps, That was pretty dang rude Sine. Thanks for that.

Thump, i don't want to sound rude but you're most likely in a minority. You are one of the self-appointed do-gooders of tron (hey, how many times did you tell me not to chat while i was defending really well? :?). It doesn't seem obscurely to me that you experience this kind of behaviour. You don't understand that there is a concrete reason for this apology, it doesn't have a moral purpose, its aim isn't the conversion of everyone else.

I can't even play now and i already miss every bit of the game.
