Windows 7 problems
Re: Windows 7 problems
Go to your performance settings change Swap Mode to Flush, and Display Lists to Create and Call, thanks to this I have 1000-2000 fps.
Re: Windows 7 problems
Is is still like this? If yes, sorry, the only explanation I have is that your graphics card is lagging behind in rendering the frames sent to it (just like before). And the "Flush" swap mode *should* fix that unless it's somehow overridden in the driver, so you should go through all of its settings and possibly just revert them to default values, except for "max frames rendered ahead", which should be 1 at most.inVacua wrote:The problem only occours when i deactivate vsync, if i turn it on i have problems with the response of my movements.
Re: Windows 7 problems
Tried it no effect, i have arround 1800 fps so this shouldnt be the problem.Go to your performance settings change Swap Mode to Flush, and Display Lists to Create and Call, thanks to this I have 1000-2000 fps.
If I turn vsync on the problem is vanishing, but the reaction time of my keypress and the cycle are very bad. I noticed that my camping problem with the rotating cycle is disappeared if I turn vsync on. So now I only need help to get it smoother running.
Re: Windows 7 problems
Sorry, my bad. The swap mode you actually want is "Finish", not "Flush".
Re: Windows 7 problems
Ahh, feels better now with vsync on. But a slight delay is still there ? What could tweak it to normal?
Re: Windows 7 problems
A slight delay is always normal and can't be avoided; there's always data flow paths that can't be accelerated. But: if you notice the delay, it's higher than it should be. Unfortunately, there's no more tweaks to be done in the game for you. You'll need to experiment with the graphics driver settings. Don't force it to use 16x anisotropic filtering and all that antialiasing, and there's the "Max frames rendered ahead/buffered/can't remember" setting you should set to 0 (in your case, since you seem to get good performance anyway). Triple buffering probably should be set to 'off' for you as well.

Re: Windows 7 problems
Ok, I will try arround with the settings a bit. But I think i will get used to the delay.
