Oh no, it CAN be saved. But it requires a team effort. Wanna know how? I thought so!

• First, dlh renames the thread to something more fitting of the earlier theme. Maybe something like "Totally Crazy Bugs and Other Unique Awesomeness" or whatever - you get the point.
  
  Second, we have a mod trim this thread, let's say, umm... here on pg.12. (That's the last interesting and relevant post.)

It's insanely high framerate in the 1000s, vsync disabled, camera turning quickly, and the screenshot shows what's actually displayed on the monitor. Beats me how it was taken.

It's what Mac OS X does/did occasionally with its shift-cmd-3 screenshots. You don't even have to have insane framerates; it's just a slow asynchronous copy (even though it's trivial to take a rapid synchronous screenshot).

Is that floor pattern made with a very large floor.png, or with some use of floor_a/b.png? (I know that some folks have been able to get non-square patterns, such as hexagons, using floor_a/b.)

It was measured out for a standard fortress server, and be sure to set GRID_SIZE 600
