Nel, i honestly think you're overreacting a bit.
When I read the nominees list on the 12th April and I saw your nick I was just curious who had put your and Arilou's name there. And no, it's not possible to delete/fake those log entries unless that person knows your password...(and no, i'm not a hacker).

I'm not sure what you were thinking when you wrote this text. Zurd said you're not THAT good at fort which is his opinion and not an insult either. So don't make a mountain out of a dust speck.

Anyways, wiki edits are monitored by IPs too, correct? There is no way Word faked that, or hacked you. It was your username and IP that signed up "Nelhybel", you're embarassed now and trying to cover it up. Stop it, there's no need.

This is silly. Nelhybel says he added Arilou. I don't see any other edit than the one Word linked to that does that, so while I can't check the IP myself, the edit was originally done by Nelhybel, little doubt about it. Which means that there are two explanations for the self-nomination: a) someone not only edited the wiki with a stolen account, someone changed the wiki's edit history. Only admins can do that, and it's freaking complicated. b) Nelybel added himself and either b1) is embarrassed about it now and tries to cover it up or b2) forgot he did it.

I very strongly suggest we start to collectively believe b2) right now and move on.

I believe the only person who can change the history is the person who has root access to the database. Even when moderators revert changes and stuff, the previous versions continue to exist. It's been awhile since I poked around the wiki doing that sort of thing, so maybe I'm misremembering.

All's I can say is "who cares?" Why does it even matter if he nominated himself? If there's a rule that says he can't, then you guys can go back and remove the nomination based on that. That won't stop him from making a sock puppet account and nominating himself again, though.

The purpose of the link wasn't to expose something (or to 'attack your integrity') but to confirm what Zurd said (and let's say you probably forgot about it, ok? ). I'm sorry if you got another impression, Nel - and I think we should discuss it elsewhere (on the grid/your forum).

Apart from that, I agree with Lucifer. I think if i liked and had time to play i'd have added myself to the list sooner or later (provided that I'm good enough ). In fact there are like 5 other players who did the same. There's nothing bad about it. It just sounded strange that you said you didn't sign up yourself although I remember seeing it some days ago...oh well
