Re: WST 2
I hope next WST more admins sign up...there shouldn't be that much of a need for admins but when there are 19 teams and 8 different servers...it would be nice for some more guys to help out. As far as the tourney goes...I wish all the teams best of luck in becoming one of the champions of such a huge sign up list!!
Re: WST 2
I was going to use the irc to randomize the teams but I realized that the IRC wouldn't randomize who played the first round and who they would play next. The randomizer I used did so I feel like it was a better choice.

/me considers z-man's statement and takes note at lisa's payment and realizes her payment was forged anyway.
@compguy...I don't know what is going on with your servers and the new/extra ones...must have been between u and luck...I would say change your servers on the brackets to ur choosing but as for the other servers...I would say they r fine as they are...if one of these newly added servers is better than one of your servers listed in the bracket; feel free to replace them..

Well luck can't make it.....I wouldn't mind doing that if someone or some people joined me...don't want to be all lonely and make myself look retarded talking to no one.
Maybe have some experienced sumo players doing it plus myself if needed...I think it would turn out good.

Re: WST 2
Yet again, for the second time, I am not the team leader so it wasn't really my choice. Last time I didn't plan to play with Animal Farm until the day of the event anyways. Besides, you've gotta fight fire with fire right?Lizmatic wrote:haha, remember how Durka critisized smurf names and now for the second time he'll be part of one. Animal farm and now z-women!
I want my money back.

Re: WST 2
Luck you fail, the HTML file that my randomizer spits out needs to be hosted not screenied, failed.

fixes are welcomeLucK wrote:I was going to use the irc to randomize the teams but I realized that the IRC wouldn't randomize who played the first round and who they would play next.

It does shuffle up to 32 teams, but since templates differ a bit, never bothered to make the full template output

Well that's not true.LucK wrote:I was going to use the irc to randomize the teams but I realized that the IRC wouldn't randomize who played the first round and who they would play next. The randomizer I used did so I feel like it was a better choice.

Then you just put that in the wiki bracket and there you go.

Re: WST 2
@INW You really shouldn't need more than 2 or 3 tourney admins if you guys run things right. Just keep traveling around from server to server, and make sure things are going fine. The vast majority of teams/players are used to the "self-organizing model" of the Ladle. There are many reasons why 2020 developed that model to run tournaments, which has become quite refined. INHO, you are probably better off with no more than 3 admins. Only the first 2 rounds will keep you rather busy. But, you really do not need to watch every server, every minute.

Re: WST 2
Spin, the admin team should be fine. In the previous WST we didn't have to do $h!t on most of the Euro servers because there were admins in there anyways. Besides, I'm a pro admin, there's a safe spot, I got this!
