Tournament Idea.

im looking for make a tournament like Davis Cup(tennis)
max teams: 16
max players per team: 5
1 serie each 3 months.
1 captain per team. Captain cant be changed never. he will play all tournament.
Rest of players can be changed only before each serie. CANT BE CHANGED DURING THE SERIE
Friday: 2 fort matches. (5v5) (players cant be changed during the match, without exceptions)
Saturday: 1 sumo match (3v3) (players cant be changed during the match, without exceptions)
Sunday: 2 fort matches (5v5) (players cant be changed during the match, without exceptions)
Brackets are like ladle... quarters, semis, etc.
team singed up cant change the name during the tournament.
not neccesary be a clan or a team...
days and hours: will be asigned for people who is organizing the tournament like me and others.
Servers: not neccesary make new servers for it... but well... will have and general admin(umpire) :P. admin need see roster`s teams before start serie.. like its arma we will use known commands /lock /unlock /invite etc....

What's with the emphasis of no exceptions? Stuff happens..internet fails, Mom comes bursting into your room, the client crashes, etc.

More over, the AFL #1, the AFL #2, and the FPL have proved long-lasting leagues don't work in here.

well.. i think.. we can change some.. if some player need g2g for some reason team can do only change (teams can do 1 change per match only if is really neccesary) admin need accept it.
and player did go out, cant back to the match.

What?

AFL #2 (officially AFL #1 since the AFL #1 you were talking to was just a trial, shortened season) worked perfectly/flawlessly. With the exception of 1 team (UCF), all teams showed up and competed each weekend that a match was scheduled.

orion, you don't have time to organise a tournament, you should be too busy running our fan club!
