Woot, this is exciting. I went headfirst into phpbb for the first time. Though I've had a lot of experience with vBulletin and some with IPB, it is still another experience altogether when you meet a new piece of software. I buy webspace, and most of it goes unused at the moment, so I offered to make and host a new/better site for my new clanmates. And here it is: (still some things needing to be added, but I think it turned out well for only knowing html/css)
http://www.pndclan.org/
What you think? Does it look the spirit of Armagetron enough? This is the second clan site that I have created (the first being an ipbfree, a clan that I founded).

PS: if anyone is good at phpbb3 here, perhaps you want to lend a helping hand. I'm quite lost when it comes to mods and custom skins.

Z-Man wrote:Fine, let's discuss the website, I assume you mean phalanx.me. Dim text on black background, while stylish in some way, is hard to read. Plus, you're blocking non-registered readers. That is bad practice. Said it before and will say it again.

This is the second time you changed forums this week. I'm tired of tracking you down so I'm not registering again. Front page looks nice though.
Re: A New Clan Site (pNd)
I hate the banner, and the C4D as background. Also, I dislike phpbb3.
Oh and this might not have much to do with the design, but this just looks stupid:
"Legend: Clan founders, Clan leaders, Clan members, Elite clan members, Global moderators, Gods, Honored Retirees, Registered users"
Founders, Leaders, Elites, Gods? lawl

Re: A New Clan Site (pNd)
Sorry for the disappointments espy, but at least you'll know where to find us. Oppose likes to keep it forced registration (maybe I can talk him out of it some day) and we do like our dark themes. Personally it is easier on my eyes to look on dark screens, but to each their own.
Sinewav: I'm not sure what you're referring to. O.o This is the first/last time pnd has changed sites. Unless you're talking about following me around, but I wasn't expecting vcl to go out the way it did. Though looks like it'll be coming back around just fine.
Glad you like it Acid, I hope to see you around.

Wrong. It was pndclan.co.cc, and pndclan.ipbfree.com before this one. And following you around is the last thing I have the time and energy for, that's why I'm not registering again.
Re: A New Clan Site (pNd)
Ooh, I see what the problem was.
pndclan.co.cc and pndclan.ipbfree.com were the same site, with a different url. The person who originally registered the shorter url decided it would be a "fun" idea to make things more difficult for our visitors :\
