Question about Fort...
Ok this is just to see who is right in a dispute.... Ok so does a 1v1 prove anything? The score was 18-6 the person who lost is an "attacker" the person who won is a sweeper or center. Also is it possible/not very difficult during a match for the def to kill an attacker that is following closely to his cycle?

Re: Question about Fort...
Sure that's possible. As for the 1v1 thing, all it proves is who is a better attacker+defender combo assuming the 1v1 is played by alternating who defends. Other than that, it means nothing. If the players' best positions aren't the same, there's no way you can "compare" them really. That's like comparing an offensive lineman to a safety, unless of course you're looking at their past value to their team, etc.

Of course 1v1 means something.. it means you're good at 1v1.

Re: Question about Fort...
I find 1v1's in fortress to have a couple of uses. To work on my def and/or attack. To gauge the skillz of a relatively new fortress player that I am integrating into the Ww fortress team. Internally, in Ww we are going to be doing an internal 2v2 tournament, where I will be pairing fortress n00bs and experienced players, as a way of bringing new players along.
