3 years of ladles!
wow
not only is this game future proof
so is the tournament!

plus just got beaten in a super close match against crazy tronners
in the final match we went through
20-20
66-66
90-90
and lost it to a gank 2v1

nervous wreck at the end of it
can't believe i have to wait another month for this...

this game remains superb!
thanks to all who make it happen :)

That was the best Ladle I've ever played in! The finals were amazing; we had the greatest comeback in the history of the Ladle I think? Down 2-0 in matches and down by over 40 in the 3rd match, we came back to win it 3-2 :D. Amazing matches CT!

Yes it was amazing. It was fun for all (I think), even us losers! I can find very little that went wrong with Ladle 23. We had a great turn out. The matches started and ended on time for the most part too. They are still running a bit late though...

I believe Ladle 24 is a voting Ladle. In the next few days we should post a "Ladle 24 voting discussion" thread so we can talk about a few things. Some of the past rules haven't been a problem and maybe we don't have to include them in this round of voting (like the rule about challenge board names and aliases seems to be a non-issue lately - maybe just change the ladle guidelines to reflect this?)

Some new rules could stand a vote though. I'd like to get a good discussion going about LIMIT_TIME for Ladles, and possibly making the finals "best of 3" instead of "best to 3". Although it worked in TX's favor tonight, I'm not sure that it is really necessary to have more matches in the finals than the semis. If it's to prove who is truly best, I want Plus+ to have 2 more matches against CT because our quarters were a toss-up! ;)

If you're counting overall, (just how you were 2 down, and got 3) then yeah, but if you are counting the individual matches, I don't think any of them were really a comeback.

Anyways, Congrats on the win Tx.

It was a great ladle, I agree with sine. There were strong teams all around, plus was great and should at least be in the top 4. Hopefully the next ladle will be as big of a success.

Yeah great ladle

Think of how far it's come

-18 Teams
-108 Players
-official settings
-orgainsed server list (running up to date versions & well admined)
-power easily devolved to team captains, authentication win?

Hell even american servs arn't that bad to play on these days :)

If like sine suggests we're to vote on L24 settings & structure, here's to everyone participating in this!
Although I can see voting & discussion getting messy, cookies for anyone who manages to organise that :D

Meh, the thing with all captains being admins is good, but then the spectator chat isn't moderated.

Recordings:

"Opening" Round (TX1's second match) - Tx1 vs SP
Quarter Finals - Tx1 vs AW
Semi-Finals - Tx1 vs WW
Finals Tx1 vs CTa

PS: Also re-uploaded Z-Man's recordings.

Gz TX.

Another great Ladle, Plus+ vs CTa quarter was the closest game I've ever seen in fortress. Both semis were pretty much one-sided, but it was recompensed by the twist in final.

It ended 0:40 am in Europe - and you have to admit this tourney went quite smooth. Whatever option we choose, something needs to be changed (move final to other day?)

Oh wow, Plus was missing Radian. I wonder if they went away together for the weekend or something. I hope everything is OK. It's not like them to miss events without notice.
