texture system?
texture system?
could someone please explain me the texture system of armagetron? I tried it very often with UWV but it won't work. Or can you upload a tutorial in a format that works with c4d?

Re: texture system?
If you're talking about models, it is barely splatted from the side, AFAIK.
Re: texture system?
ok thank you
as you can see I tried also to make texture with numbers and letters to see the way it looks when it is added to the model. But It looks strange and I still don't understand for example why only the wheel is textured. and the rest is transparent/interlaced. The texture i prepared to find the system out was this one:

Re: texture system?
This is only for the .mod files. All I know about the .ase models is that actual skinning is possible because I have, but I only know how to do it for blender. I don't think anyone has ever successfully made an .ase model+texture with anything else than blender or 3dsmax, so I'm pretty sure you're on your own.epsy wrote:If you're talking about models, it is barely splatted from the side, AFAIK.

I will try something simple with splat/spat mapping, maybe a cube. I will post the result tomorrow.
edit: lol i did it already this night and guess what happened:
I think the texture was too big.
the recording:

here is the ase file (only a cube):

and the texture I used (spat-mapping):

Re: texture system?
That error says that only 4 byte per pixel textures are supported. In other words, RGBA is required.
