
Anyway, the hurricane season only just started and we've already had 2 hurricanes, and we currently have a tropical storm going up the eastern seaboard (safely away from land), and a hurricane about to make landfall in Texas. That's Dolly, and if she doesn't become a Cat 5 before hitting, they'll have to rename her to something less-endowed.
So, this thread is for hurricane watchers to talk about anything coming their way, or whatever's interesting. I've mostly been watching the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico, but there's the Pacific hurricanes also.
This season, like last season, is predicted to be a record-breaking season (similar to the season that brought us both Katrina and Rita). Unlike last season, it's only July and we've already had two (the second one is still active), so maybe this will really be a big season.
