Listen this pointless banter is getting us nowhere at all. Just all accept your actions all of you forgetting dispite the reasons behind them.

I have my own views to but I don't go thrashing them out looking for some fight.

What is done is done, we all know what triggered this off so there is no need to argue. Admin has settled it giving harsh forfits for the offenders so there is no debate left to how it ended.

This topic will just cause agrovation between people, I suggest some admin close it.

This is not about the wiki(I don't need to edit it if you feel that you cannot trust me) Next time or anytime i see an error in the Wiki I will not edit it. This is about admins abusing powers by not knowing the full story and neglecting to see how it unfolded.

-does the records show /team messages? only public message? no messages?

-i don't think i'll talk about Aleph Zero in school not because it's not interesting, but because I think i can find something even more interresting

-@Durka: I like those ladles xD

-@rain (or any other ladle/tourney organizer) that would be better imho if settings (like: SCORE_HOLE for example etc) were chosen before ladle.

Was there ever a MVP award for the ladle, I cant really remember. If there is, who won it this year? And if there isn't, maybe it could be a new addition for the ladle, shows a little appreciation towords people who really help out their team. Just some random comment/input.

No, they only contain public chat. I had the recorder elevated to moderator for some seconds, but then decided that I can't do this without the teams' consent, and did not want to ask them about their opinion on yet another detail, because it's always so hard to get them to listen at all. Add this to the list of things that should be fixed in advance for the next ladle.

Depends on how you look at it. At the time Your_mom did the ban, there was still active smeghead editing going on, and it needed to be stopped. So you see, sometimes locking a page or banning specific users serves the purpose of making everybody stop, cool down a bit, think about what's going on, and then start talking to resolve it. Also, the only information he had to go on was the history of the page, and in that he absolutely made the right call.

As for whether the ban should be lifted or not, as far as I'm concerned, that's Your_mom's decision. Overall he does an excellent job moderating the wiki, and it's a simple fact that if one moderator is overruled by one other moderator, then you have a tyrrany of sorts. I'll refer you to me leaving #armagetron for that, and I'm not about to turn around and do the thing I hate to someone else, particularly someone who overall does an excellent job anyway. So it's Your_mom's decision, talk to him about it, he has my complete trust in the matter. The specific issues are past, and except for Legit being stuck in his childhood, they're not likely to rematerialize, and he wasn't in the edit war anyway.

For reference, the other moderators on the wiki are me, Jonathan, Tank, wrtlpwned, and I think (but am not sure) DrJoeTron the Badmin.

So, to summarize: Yes, he should have banned you at the time he did, as well as whoever else he banned. It stopped the edit war and brought the discussion over here to be resolved. I respect that you disagree with the length of the ban, and you should talk to Your_mom to resolve that. This is true for whoever else was banned over this.

I can tell he receives the PMs but he never replies

It does not make any sense to my why i should be banned I fixed my mistake in a timely manner. I really doubt that your_mom looked at the history prematurely banning me.

When he talks I'll stop posting random nonsense here, But until then I will submit changes to the wiki in the forums here.

Heh, last I checked, he reads his PMs, and he may not reply, but that doesn't mean he doesn't act. I'd expect him to post here or something, but if you just did it before posting, I wouldn't expect a response too quickly. He's a busy man....

Both bans where meant to be both temporary and flexable. I'm lifting them both. However further misjudgment will be met with a strict ban.

Kyle seems to have over reacted. He's sent me a couple of pm's. the first one was berating me for being a badmin. The second was wiki edits on ladle results etc. There was nothing personal about this[kyle] but you sure seemed to take it that way.

BTW, if anyone is a badmin, it's wrtl. He blocked me a year ago, calling me a spammer (scroll down to 7 February, or maybe 8 depending on the time zone you configured), even though I actually reverted spam. Here's what he had to say:

Lucifer thinks he just unblocked you. Oh, and it seems he made you a sysop, too

As you can see, he was truly evil and not willing to unblock me. Wrtl, sorry if you didn't want me to give out these extremely confidential PMs, but I had to provide evidence.
