Well, network latency is still a valid concern... As for crazes, my server's been up and running for a couple of years now, with the same settings as the beginning, so it's hardly a craze for me.
Cheating or not, if it becomes part of your style it might eventually become a crutch. That's the exact moment when someone will discover a way to defeat you. It's the nature of things.
On my step-dads computer, he has a scroll. More like a zoom in and zoom out. I forget how I setted it up but if I were to hold that zoom button upwards, it will allow me to go left+right and continue to until I stopped holding it up. If I were to bring that zoom out scroll down, it will allow me to keep double bind continuesly the one way until I die. So I don't use that scroll down, But I only use the zoom in if someone has df me and actually sealed me so therefor I only use that to get out.
