Good, old, games

Post by Lucifer »

If it requires an emulator, so much the better. I used dosbox to run this one:

That's the only one I know, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing. Is being the first to beat it in class (no, you couldn't play it all the time), totally unexpectedly because I rarely played anything like that, honorable?

Super Punchout on the snes has got to be one of the greatest games ever made. I still load it up in an emulator from time to time.
I also have very fond memories of 8 of us simultaniously playing micromachines 2 on the sega megadrive, 2 per joypad.
Great days.

Erm, MAME/MacMAME.

Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Centipede, Space Invaders, Missile Command, Asteroids, Frogger, Defender, Tempest, 1942, Dig Dug, Q*Bert, Zaxxon, Mario Bros., Star Wars (1983), Tron.

"Golden Age," they're apparently calling it now.
