(coming up with some optimistic yet realistic suggestion if we get our collective arse in gear)
then you are doing yours
(which is to poop on anything which tickles your sense of disappointment in humanity)
come on guys
if we don't do something substantial at some point
we are going to be completely overlooked and overtaken by something commercially constructed
and the opportunity for playing this excellent game
giving credit to the genius game design of zman
and the dedication of the team
for producing such an excellent opensource game
will be gone
then again
i suppose you really want to be in this same position next year
with a handful of teams
with the same players...?

It would be nice if they implement some of the hacks that we added to tron.
However, I don't know if we should be recognized in the movie as an open source game. I think if the people want to play something like it they should be able to find it them selfs in order to play. look at all the lack of skill some starting players have. I know some get better and become very good players but, there will be a lot more if we do get recognized. If we do not get recognized we are still going to have a few more but not nearly the number as if we do.
there are about 80-100 tron servers running at a time. we could probably support 700 player right now and we usually only have 80-120 at busy times. (i think that data is fairly acurite anyway)
So we can support a big growth in the game, but are we going to be willing to put up with all the new players invading for a few moths?
