- Cash prizes
- Non-team play
- Winner placement based on the Glicko-2 rating system
- Local servers for both US and Europe (and possibly Austrailia, depending on player turn out)
- Approximately one month long tournament
- Minimum of about 10 hours on the grid required
- Must face every other player at some point

Please feel free to ask questions or make suggestions here.

even though i dont play non team that much, if its only 10 hour req to play, i could have some serious fun, nub killing

If, near the end, we're rated second and third and the first place gives more money than that, one of us will pwn the other with his consent every round to push himself to first place. We'll probably even plan for this beforehand and only the one who is going to be pushed up later will pay an entry fee. Yeah, it's not skillless, you still have do do the kills, but the bigger your group, the easier it gets. Of course, profit also gets smaller, so big alliances will break up later, but secret alliances will be part of the game. Every game with more than two players has this property. Ignore this at your own risk.

stop with the what ifs, if anything your giving people ideas :P but another problem, is what if not enough people pay an entry fee, then your actually losing money

Scoring, yes. But the game mechanics are N on N. Well, I'll shut up now. You have to know what you're doing yourself.

That's fine, but don't expect to win from killing n00bs.

There will probably be a requirement of 10 paid players per tournament or something.

I want to make some thing very clear, all my tournements did end so far...

the problem with the 3rd one is that everyone who signed up are not helding there words: they signed up but dont do their matches...

Which, I guess, is the problem Durka meant. It happens less if you do everything in one day, because then, each team only has to show up once, and if it doesn't, it's out and does not stop the further progress of the tournament. I'm sure it was not meant to make you look incompetent.

ok i want to enter.. but is it ganna be rubber? andd i really dont understand like do i pay to play in the tourney or no?

also u can make it easier by making teams. 2 players per team or u can just have that as another tourney cause i think one on one would take to long.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

if it is not rubber . can i help set up a rubber tournament. i think that a rubber tournament would really be good.

No, you don't play. This is a no-play tournament. Everyone just thinks about playing, and the winner is picked according to who thinks he is better. End of sarcasm, sorry, this is a very stupid question :)
Edit: whoops, misread pay and play, mock me :) The real answer then is, you can pick. If you pay, price money is supposed to be bigger.

No teams. This is a single player tournament.

The game type is not determined yet, but it certainly won't be rubber, because that's not a gametype. Settings will vary, but the game type probably will be plain old "last man standing" or "deathmatch".

Or quite possibly different game types/settings depending on which day or week it is.
