You know, I realize I"m just feeling irritable because I'm sleepy, but can we get less subject lines that say "PLZ HELP ME OUT" and more subject lines that give some sort of summary of what the problem is? It's hard to keep track of which problems are solved and which ones arent when you have so many whose only clue in the unread post list is "PLZ HELP ME OUT". We feel your pain, Carl, can you help us organize the information?

A note in the "Read Me" sticky topic with a link to our wonderful FAQ on the wiki and a reminder to use real English and good subject lines.
Can we technically ban the word "help" from subjects in this forum? I mean, it is quite obvious someone posting here wants help and most bad subject lines contain it. While we're at it: exclamation marks, multiple question marks, CAPS (ok, may make problems when people want help on settings), "asap" and possibly even "plz"
But I don't think it's a really bad problem. Most of the subject lines are good, and for the ones that aren't: nobody can blame us when we lose track of them.

Yeah, and it's probably not possible anyway, so forget it. We can slowly educate the users, though, by giving as the only reply to heinously bad subject lines "Repost this in a new thread with a meaningful subject line, such as <umm, I forgot already what this thread is about>, and we'll have a good answer for you". Or have Tank give some more of us moderation rights to change the titles.
