Here are my ressources for cvs and its many clones.

First of all, check the doc at https://www.cvshome.org/docs/
Read all the small ones if your beginning with cvs. They may repeat themself a bit, but it will help you quickstart. The one refered as the Cederqvist is more complete, but harsher to understand.

Some best practice. Very interesting! Explain the usage rather than the commands. Something quite lacking from the other doc I read.

is a FULL OPEN BOOK available online. In pdf. What I read was really great.
