PS. There is one sometimes everyday at 8 pm EST at teamplay. And we usually get on at weekends to play.

go to TIGERS NETWORK TEAM PLAY server at designated time, it is not formal tournament, but allways interesting
do you feel up to it? I think those guys will eat u alive, for me its like start..BOOOM,start...BOOOM, but go there, watch and learn, some of best players regulary play there

lol zapple, did you get abused when you were a new player or something?

anyway, there has been some formal tournaments in the past but they just didnt work out.. so now its just ppl organizing matches in tigers teamplay as said before.

We used to have a formal tournament, but it did not work out. Hence, we have these informal, uh "forum plays" instead. It's bascially a time when we try and meet togehter and play together...

scuse my ignorance, but i was not here when it happened, so why didn't it worked?
couldnot we get all interested registered players (there are not that many yet) in lets say tigers goshdarn clone in time convenient for europeans, and US & Canada players on goshdarn, first of course get them here in some "waiting room", divide them in groups of 12 ( first 4 progresses), and next day playoff with eastern 4 and western best 4 ?
If administering is problem I'm shure there will be a lot of volonters, and it might get more ppl interested in registering their names and joining forums as well.

It was too hard to get people internationally to play at the same time. People were having trouble coverting GMT to their local time... It was a mess. People were not showing up... Aw man... Marrow tried it first, then gave up. I tried it then gave up. People were just not paying attention to our news posts... Grrr, it was hard. But if you really want to try it. I for one, however will not do anything administrative on it other then set up the sub forum.

Nor i was asking for more from you, tank, i know u have more important stuff and think i cought a glimpse on great work u done so far.

Since you have been through it before, you know how to recognise problems related, you know which ppl here wuold be able to solve them so just divide one big problem to several smaller, give us some list of stuff to do and let ppl join in and say "oy, i can do that"
I wouldn't mind notifying each reg. player, with timetables once we set them, if they entered location in profile i'll convert time for them, np
What we need also is system of grouping that would not put all champs in one and all noobs in other group- ideas anyone?
Sub forum would be nice, locked one, cos its not for other posts but offical tournamet admin notes only, and later on some sort of hall of fame with all winners in it
In that forum ppl would have to come at least 30 min (enough? too much?) ahead of match to confirm entry, as for noshows, well in all sports not to come is to concede, so whats the big deal?Next time they'll pay attentione.From that forum ppl can be invited to go to server when its their turn.You can give two guys temporary admin rights, lay back and enjoy the wiew.
O yea, once a mounth is more than enough, or even better every three mounths with 4 tournaments a year and big bad "masters" somwhere around Xmass holidays, that would give admins some peace and players some time to brag around. Making it like that would only increase its significance and interest to it.

Have i adresed all problems you inlisted?There must be something more, i know you and marrow would not give up that easy.
