Me, myself, and I, you have a problem with that you take your own time to set up the wikipedia each month and do the randomization.

yes.. i have a problem with that :? and no.. that is not the solution.. :| no one forces you to do that.. but if you do it then please do it correctly.. :!:
Wiki wrote:The first Ladle enthusiast should submit the !randomteam arguments for the second enthusiast to double-check and approve. If no errors exist, the first enthusiast calls !randomteam with arguments and the second enthusiast types !r immediately after. This witnessing makes the bracket randomization "official."

Ok "Recko" you are wearing out your welcome here, fast. Instead of criticizing Magi just be sure to be available next month to witness the brackets. You are just as responsible as he is. We all are. I'm thankful Magi takes the time to do this work. Also, double-elimination heavily reduces the need for randomization since a bad draw in the first round doesn't prevent you from wining Ladle. At this point, the randomization is more of a tradition than a necessity. There are only a handful people even playing this event.

Jesus.
RNGesus to be precise.
World of Tanks? Or does every game call it that? :P

Quoted just to say that a handful is only five, in which case that wouldn't be much of a ladle :P

(I know you're very well aware of what a handful is, just nagging)

I know Hoax is just clowning but please let's all of us remember to be respectful of Magi for his continued dedication. We don't exactly have a line of people waiting to do his job. For those who have never done it, realize that there are a lot of steps involved in preparing the wiki and editing it accurately takes quite a bit of time.

Pretty sure lots of games call it RNGesus, I know I've heard it dozens of times in Destiny or while playing Magic, if I had to take a guess I bet the first place it came from would be D&D.

I probably know it from Dota2, but yes, it's used in lots of games.
Also hell yeah for Magi! :-)

One Ladle, I reset the wiki so teams could sign up, since it just wansn't happening. It took quite a bit longer than I expected. In the end, others cleaned up a couple mistakes I made in the process. This competition requires the dedication of a few volunteers to keep things running and fun for the rest of us.
So, a big thanks to Magi, and to all the others that keep this running every month.

Note to server admins authorities were wrong on the wiki
if you downloaded them as they were, you have the ladle 102 settings in ladle/ladle103_authorities.cfg please remove that for cache and update your settings.

Code: Select all

RINCLUDE ladle/ladle103_authorities.cfg(http://crazy-tronners.com/resource/ladle/ladle103_authorities_.cfg)

Good matches everyone. While some lament the decline of Ladle I think the general disorganization of teams makes it fun. You are forced to not take it so seriously and get mad at people. Games seem friendlier lately.
