Just a note to server owners. The configs on the wiki were wrong until now

Here they are again (and the authorities file is up)

Code: Select all

RINCLUDE ladle/ladle84.cfg(http://crazy-tronners.com/resource/ladle/ladle84.cfg)
RINCLUDE ladle/ladle86_authorities.cfg(http://crazy-tronners.com/resource/ladle/ladle86_authorities.cfg)
SERVER_NAME 0x7fff7fLadle 86 0xff7f7f(0x7f7fffPlayer 1's Server0xff7f7f)
ROUND_CONSOLE_MESSAGE 0x7fff7fLadle 86 0xff7f7f(0x7f7fffPlayer 1's Server0xff7f7f)\n0x999999Please remember to leave server feedback.

I'm sorry that I forgot about updating my server over the past couple of months. I'll get back on it.

gz R.

Impressive ladle victory. 5 rounds (or more) lost because of 3 server fail, and no server reset. And a laggy Nanu. Still only one round lost.

wd speeders breaking the 11 rounds in a row they won.

BTW, according to ladle statistic page, the most consecutive rounds won was 14 by speeders between ladle 29 and 32.

But according to the result page, SP won ladle 31 2-1.

The most I can find, is 12 or 13 between ladle 29 and 30 (2-1 in semis).

Did I miss something?

Good matches to Cubed3, hope you guys can continue to produce excellence. It was quite pleasant losing to you guys, but we'll be back stronger than ever next month!

As a general note, the lack of editing on the wiki page for the brackets is disappointing to say the least. If you have a forums account, you need to update the wiki whenever your team wins or loses. It takes 2 seconds to edit it, and helps facilitate the matches and the flow of the tournament. Please try to be better. As I write this message, ladle has been over for almost 2 hours, yet the brackets aren't even close to filled in. Ladle isn't the kind of tournament that only the victor is important, the other matches in between are just as important for statistics and for legacy.

I think we played in a UK server, but it might have been CT LIV for our matches. For now, I'm going to say it was LIV, and it was bad.

-1 CT LIV

Congrats R!

@theo
In this case rounds means number of teams beaten. They beat 4 teams in ladles 29 and 30 and then 3 teams in ladles 31 and 32 for 14 in all.

I have an idea as to why CT USA had some trouble, I'll implement my "Fix" before the next ladle. and yes nub, you did play in LIV.

Okay, cool! We also had the same crash happen once in Theo's where 4-5 players would d/c at a time

Exactly the same players, as far as I can remember, if that's of importance.

what i did probably would not fix that then, but if it was same players, maybe they were connected to the server using the same route, and something went bad close to the server, but far enough away that it could not effect everyone.

Perhaps it could be if they were using a certain client?
