Probably just because it's kinda far away and people don't know if they can make it yet.

I experimented with recording tron today and I made some highlights videos from last shovel (it's probably too late to post in shovel 3 topic). I used the recording posted by pike and just watched myself play, lol. If you want to upload it on youtube, I have the whole video in HD (1.62 GB) and SD (904 MB) (it has like 26 min > 15 min and I made a fake account just to upload arma videos). So here we go (this is copied from sh boards) :

1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bIjYOu4ts8 - some nice shaking
2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtPYlZs8zrs - more shaking
3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mYY1OFDZAg - did I put a video with shaking ? :P
4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEF2ijL6Sb4 - nice camping but failed in the end
5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRm-9xOUkMs - the famous nanu kill; he didn't expect a thing :D
6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oPiN9mKwNk - pro holing
7. youtube.com/watch?v=wgExVKpfig0 - more interesting fights
8. youtube.com/watch?v=q0rnH5BSEp8 - last round; you can see beer tried to kami on me but failed xD

Just put 'http://' at last 2 ones, I'm only allowed 6 URLs / post

Right now there are 16 teams signed up.

I'll propose options for brackets (let me know which one appeals to you)

Option 1 (if we stay at 16 teams)
  1. Opening round
    4 servers, 2v2v2v2 (4 teams , 8 players per server) = 16 teams , 32 players
1 match is played, after 18 rounds the highest score moves on, 4 teams advance (1 from each server)
    Finals
    1 server, 2v2v2v2 (4 teams , 8 players) = 4 teams , 8 players
Since we're only using upper bracket there can't be a semis so after opening round, the 4 teams would go straight to finals.
1 match, 18 rounds, highest score is winner

Option 2 (minimum teams 16(32 players), maximum teams 32(64 players)
  1. Opening round
8 servers, 2v2 (2 teams, 4 players per server) = 16 teams , 32 players (this can be upped to 2v2v2, 2v2v2v2, depends on more teams)
1 matched is played, after 18 rounds the highest score moves on, 8 teams advance (1 from each server)
    Semifinals
    2 servers, 2v2v2v2 (4 teams, 8 players) = 8 teams, 16 players
1 match is played, after 18 rounds the top two highest scores move on, 4 teams advance (2 from each server)
    Finals
    1 server, 2v2v2v2 (4 teams , 8 players) = 4 teams , 8 players
1 match, 18 rounds, highest score is winner
this option would allow us to use the current full bracket.

Option one, that way it still feels like a tst.. im pretty sure option 2 was tried in that random tournament awhile back and it wasn't very fun.

option 1 can only be if we stay at 16 teams, but yeah im with you on option 1, less servers and feels like a tst
