We unfortunately have no news from server owners (but Loki, thx man).

It's a little early to try remembering to have a server up in time for me, so I avoid having someone depend on it being there. Maybe closer to the date, if it's still needed.

We could do with a bit of advertising for this event...I was thinking mainly on fort and sumo servers, if their admins will agree to it (which I'm sure most would).

on the contrary, i think its more important to advertise in other game modes, i know a few people in df who would like to fort but are too scared to come into a server and get bombed with abuse.

Well we already have half of the max number of players, it looks good to me so far. It makes 5 teams of 7 players.

You do have a very good point, in theory. I just wonder, in practice, how many non sumo/fort server owners would be happy to advertise a fort tournament on their servers. Are there any offers from any server owners reading this post?

i know a few people in df who would like to fort but are too scared to come into a server and get bombed with abuse.

So do I, well I know people that play fast track that want to fort. I even got two of them playing fort pickups.

Just because I can't recall my wiki password and it isn't saved on my laptop - change the date at the top to say "March 23rd, 2014" rather than "March 23th, 2014"

Hope it's a blast guys, and I hope you find suitable workarounds to the nuisances that appeared last time. Glad to see someone else has the time to go forward with this. Do it justice! Time is a rare thing for me these days, wish I could help.

Only 40 players register. I doubt all of them will make it and we have no subs.

Also there are too many captains for so few players (not that it's a big deal).
