Maybe you could try setting up a server(s) with scripts running to keep track of everything, and have a database of the info.

I have one set up for DF, but it would be a bit different in sumo. Also, my ranking is not based purely on the number of kills you have.

Here's an example: http://lightron.no-ip.org/Ladder?server=light_loose_df

It's kind'a new, so doesn't have a ton of activity yet, but it seems to work out well. That's just the top 50 btw.

It doesn't need to be a ladder. It could just automatically update whatever you're planning to do, so it doesn't have to constantly depend on someone to keep up with it. Also, the server will never lie or get into a fight because of not having enough proof to see who actually won or something. It's just easier.

Great idea. I think this should be done for sumo tournaments only though. Fortress is a team oriented game and shouldn't be associated with individual rankings.

but there are only 2 individual sumo tourneys (sbt and 1v1, not counting sbing) therefore it could only be ranked on 2 tournements

not more tournements because that would make sumo too frequent, what i like about sumo tourneys (altho i lose every single time :D ) is that they arnt as frequent as fort
making them rly rly frequent would ruin it
