FTCM #2

Post by 0000 »

I'd like to invite everyone to join the second Fast Track Cage Match! Many of the newer fortress players got their start with this style, and we'd LOVE to have a few of the great low rubber players step out of their comfort zone and give it a go. It's one day before Ladle at Ladle time. That's Saturday 3/31/12 at 17:00 GMT.

Yes, it is a different game, speeding around and banging into walls! To be sure it isn't for everyone. But it requires certain skills that just aren't found in other game styles, and at the highest level the matches are intense. Just be ready for lots of double-binding, and bring your 0.2 clients as 0.3/0.4 don't play nice.

This tournament can be euro-friendly given enough interest and servers. Server help would be appreciated as well.

I don't know the ctf dates but this might conflict with that. Either way gl more ppl should sign to support the activity of different tournaments.

Thanks guys! Signups close 0:00 GMT Friday (8PM EDT Thursday). Could use another server or three if possible.

Feel free to practice in Fast Track 1v1.

Signups close tomorrow at 7 EDT. I could still use a littke server help, though I'll manage. I think I've changed my mind about brackets; I'll rand and post them tomorrow as usual.

Yes I still could use them. Post the info on the wiki and I will edit them into the brackets.

Yes, I'm pretty sure 1700 utc = 1700 gmt. It is 1PM EDT.

Well, no, because EST is Eastern Standard Time, and EDT is Eastern Daylight Time. The former is used during the winter and the latter during summer. (Same with PST/PDT - Pacific)

It's the same time zone but it changes name when it switches to daylight saving.
