Is the server up and hosted right now? I'd love to check it out.

Yes. Right now I have a bunch of servers up. I'll take most of them down during ladles.

I have these servers up for testing:

Ladle
Fortress (test)
Sumo Bar
Speeders Fortress
WST

A good test was done on the Ladle one yesterday. I have't had a slide yet, but I'm American of course :/
I would really like to hear from the Europeans!

So thats how that happened. We saw house died and then you suddenly were in the def with Pr3.

Mazuffer: You should do that to the opponents def and not your own.

Hah, I thought you'd just taken advantage of House's hole.

Heh it's funny watching him slam on the break about 6 seconds in - it's like you can hear him saying "what the hell just happened" and trying to react. Cool bug! Looks like something you would've seen in old topics about glitches a few years back.

Yeah, this deserves a lot more views. Never seen an actual slide in before, and the fact he tk'd house verifies his line is legit, and not just on his screen.

Unfortunately, the clientside recording doesn't show what happened. The recording client clearly sees the wall as an obstacle, rubber is used, and I assume the same was the case on your client since you describe it as a 'slide'. So, mystery. Especially mysterious is that the topology police didn't catch you.

That's exactly what happened to me! Except that I was against unk and intended to hole. Instead, I just drove in and ganked with mkay

Maybe unk have dodgy walls?

You mean this?
Z-Man wrote:The basic engine of AA is topologically correct: the grid consists of eFaces ( triangles ) that are connected; every cycle is in exactly one of those eFaces at a time and when it passes to another eFace, it has to go over the edge. If that edge has a wall on it, BOOM.
However, there is a flaw in the design: It only works while the grid is not changing. If the grid changes, some eFaces get destroyed and others are created. If your cycle is on a eFace that is destroyed, you will be assigned a new one. If you are lucky, that eFace lies on the other side of a wall and you cheated.

You're talking about the Jordan Curve Theorem, right?
