What Sumo Tournament should I host
And reply why! pick, I'm going to host a sumo tournament cause we need a good one and i think I may just have what you need!
Also spread the word!! get people to vote cause on June 30th I'm making a decision
(yes this will be hosted in July)
If its an even vote or a close race between two tournaments I'll leave it up to a online picker to choose for me.
Orgy Sumo: I am serious. lol If this takes an early lead I'll go ahead and start making a map & configs for it. We will of course be using Z-mans Server or somebodys who can handle 32 players

the orgy tourney with 32 players seems nice and it reminds me of royal rumble back in wwf days
seeing 32 players will be a challenge
and you could check out i might be able to host that tourney if you are interested let me know

Since June 31st doesn't exist, does that mean that you're never going to make a decision?Cody wrote:get people to vote cause on June 31st I'm making a decision

I voted for the sumo single-bind one because I think that more players today need to learn to single bind more often. I find that single binding is easier to manage (except in tight situations) because there are only two buttons so it's harder to mess up.

Ouy have a 32 player map? Flex asked me to make one once, but I never found out if it worked right? Have you seen it or tried it? I'm kind of curious.

I like it just because of the name, <3 Cody!

If you can find a way for >12 players to play sumo and it not to suck (slides, etc) please let me know.

Ya. 32 people in one zone won't work. Terrible idea.
Re: What Sumo Tournament should I host
lol durka June 30th
Anyways, I have faith that there is a server out there that can handle 32 players!
Nexus9 use to hold 16 players and there was little to no lag.
I'll start making a custom map today, I have an idea how I would want spawn points to go.

16 is a ton less than 32.Cody wrote:lol durka June 30th

32 is twice the load as 16...I don't see where you are going with this.

Hey just like one of your quotes for the new WST, if you don't like it, don't play itINW wrote:16 is a ton less than 32.Cody wrote:lol durka June 30th

It wasn't my quote.
And ya. If I don't like it, I won't play in it.

Classic, there's never been one since I've been playing
Pretty sure the zones and whatnot also add extra load on the server compared to 'normal' servers.Cody wrote:lol durka June 30th

Re: What Sumo Tournament should I host
how would you even put start positions for 32 people around a circular zone?

I'm in favor of the 1v1 tourneys as playing in the first one made me completely rethink sumo and improved my playing. 1v1 battles really let you focus on how to deal with a single enemy so that dealing with multiple becomes and easier task.
