The tourney was a great fun, imo much better than team sumos.

turned up on the master server last night
found out this tournament was on
luckily got a space to spectate in the final
and was amazed by the level of play by both finalists

interesting variations on the launch
incredible reversals
subtle use of the brakes (which i still can't use well)
range of strategies to crowd or hunt opponent
excellent

one match each
and it went down to the final round in the third match at 360 a piece
two well-matched contenders slogging it out after a night of play

I really enjoyed this tourney (although I didn't play as long as I wished to) and I'm looking forward to a SKT2. Gratz Durka and thanks to everyone who made this possible.

You may have seen the post where i opened up my 1ON1 Sumo Knockout Tournament servers up for general use. A number of people have been playing in them! This tournament has generated a lot of interest!

Bumping this, was just looking at this beauty, lold @ me losing to arks. those were some good matches.
