You're right, it's everyone's responsibility to be informed. I had captains asking questions too. And the time limit issue will be solved now that we know where the error was.

Second, it looks like the team captains didn't do a good job of explaining the rules to the players. A lot of people were very confused about the time limit
it's not just the job of the capains, is it? If the people sign up for the tournament, they have to know the rules, righ?! In th other way it makes no sense, because they dont know how to play. So it is their own fault, when they dont know the rules ?!?!
A result of teams just blindly signing up without reading the rules or the thread here
but at least any issues should be dealt with before the next set of matches

you need to rename the cfg to something like fplv2.cfg because all the servers that have already downloaded fpl.cfg, aren't going to redownload it because they think they already have the right one

Sure, go ahead and make one. You'll have to compete with Flex's KOTG revival though.

That's actually part of kotg?
A team sumo league would be interesting but since there would be alot more teams, the players participating would have to be trusted to make sure they play the matches and organise themselves; which I bet wouldn't happen.

the ID vs PRU match took place today, we both had problems to get our clanmates so we used subs. Then Durka came and said we should uninvite them according to the rules (because they are not on our team roster), and it ended up in a 3vs2, which had to be restarted. We won again, but is it true that we aren't allowed to edit the roster anymore? Half of the players i listed there are now either inactive or quit the clan...
And we had just 1 sub in our team (the emo), all the others were clanmembers that i didn't put on the fpl roster.
Wouldn't it be possible to allow subs , even if there number was limited?

If you look at soccer the maximum number of players that can be in a team is 22, a fpl team is supposed to have 7 players, so why not change the limit to 14?

and you could announce days on which it is possible to edit the roster.

I'm sorry that you're short of players now. The reason the maximum number of registered players per team is so high was to try and avoid this.

Maybe we can amend this rule to allow players to switch teams/be added for next season, but let's talk about it then.

ok , i think we will find a solution for the remaining time until then. We will just schedule the matches more carefully and hope that it works. :)

I knew i would have trouble fielding full teams with Ww which is why I did not sign us up for this. It is a challenge to do league play! But, I wish everyone the best!

October and the 1st week of December have been designated roster adjustment windows.

players may change teams, and teams may add players.
