Since we're no longer using CVS and players were confused about the name anyway (to most, CVS == the fortress test server, I've seen a funny chatlog with Luke and a player in IRC were neither seems to notice CVS means something different to the other), the servers need a new name.
Currently, they're named "Bugfarm Sumo" and "Bugfarm Fortress". Does anyone have better suggestions? Having "Test" somewhere in there wouldn't hurt.
lol, yes my bookmark does still work, although i didnt find the server at the internet server list first
maybe you could give it names like:
Bugfarm: Fortress Test Server and
Sumo: Fortress Bugfarm Practise
To keep it simplistic, there would also be "Buggy Test Server: Fortress/Sumo". I'd like to keep the z out of it and bugs and test in, thank you, sub
And sumo has developed a life of its own. It started off as fortress practice, and it still can be used for that, but it's no longer what it is for me.
Tank, could you rename the subforum to just "Test Servers"? It doesn't have to be completely reseved to my test servers, either. Wrtl's race and Luke's CvS have a place here, too
lol yeh sumo is really popular these days. a few days ago there were 16 ppl in sumo and 3 in cvs (and it wasnt cos of lag or a bug either). How hard wud it be to make the bot actually sumo Cudnt u stick something in telling it to stay within a like box
The bots have no concept of area domination and don't know the position of their own tail. I could make them try to stay inside the zone, but they'd still be very bad players. And if it's full, why would you need a bot?
