is where i try out crazy stuff before i finalize and put a server online

just started to write a pacman script but initial test have confirmed that I need to upgrade my server hardware as that poor old pi model 2 cant handle all the maze dots (zones) without getting extremely laggy although it gets better once you start eating them

i'll leave it running for now and come back to finishing the script once ive got some faster hardware

had 2 power cuts yesterday and 5 today, sadly my servers are offline

probably sd card corruption on the raspberry pi

i'll have a look tonight

Semi-unrelated and I think I already said this somewhere, but in the event of an unsafe shutdown, I can't imagine the possibility of corrupting the partitions on a raspberry pi's SD card are any greater than any other medium on other systems. Well, perhaps if one takes in account that SD cards can be even slower than hard-drives, but either way halting without properly unmounting isn't ideal anywhere.
