I've been inspired
by a certain sport
to eliminate scoring
all together
I think if
scoring was eliminated
it would give rise
to more imaginative
and
possibly improved
play

Well, no scores is good for practice.
Think of race games with no time limit around the track 8)

would be nice to eliminate players scores but keep teams scores.

the map is ready,
someone tried the 0.2 version tomorrow, that had some bugs i fixed in 0.3.
So, the map is an ellipse buildt with golden ratio where the fortress are in the two foci.

looks pretty cool...although im still waiting for the regular rectangle but with wall slingshot twice that of a light wall...i think that would add a lot of new strategy...not only just attacking, but do the outer wings start by grinding the outer walls?

PsYkO: don't you think the game would change in 1 vs 1 performance?
I see what you mean, but the risk would be to detach players from the team.
Grinding is last "necessary" team work left in fortress, if you cut it you make it a single player game :(
Don't you think?
Would be better to find some settings that compel players to play as a team to win.

On teamwork:

get rid of individual scores
look at football (soccer)
players don't get points for making
a pass
or a tackle
