I'm trying to test out some new maps to use in the uNa Server, but we don't have access to an FTP server atm. I managed to get around that by using php scripts on our forums to 'generate' (ie just set a text mime type and echo the source) config files so we can have custom settings. However, I can't get it working at all for map files.
So the question is, is it possible to specify a remote map file that is generated by php (e.g. url in form of http://mydomain.com/map.php?type=sumo), and if not, why does the behavior differ from config files?

If you are using ftp, try using a userspace mounting program to make the server look local.
This is assuming its a nix, if its windows, you are prolly ******, good luck with samba mounts.
