download, minor problem

When you download game from link 2.6 for windows at mxii.com/tron and try to start it you can NOT play, but only watch AIs play.
In game setup number of AI players is set to 3 and min number of players is set to 0.
Why? Is there a reason for such setting?
Natural reaction of new player would be to start it first to see what it looks like, then browse settings. Now you can laugh all you want, but new user can lose time and nerves trying to figure that one out, and hard work of getting right usable settings for internet game is stil ahead of him so why put him off at first step?

why not?
i think i read sumwhere that you can pass it on as long there is no changes and if not chargin it?

personally i don't like to have things spread around too much. i always try to go the source to make sure i get the latest and right version. sourceforge itself has many mirrors so i just don't see the point.

but i guess is S.O.P. for GNU stuff, so my opinions are irrelevant.

oh, mayb i wasn't clear...

it's a LINK, you ARE geting file from sourceforge, that is why i send ppl there to download it ,instead of copying mine, and friend emailed me yesterday with problem in question, it took us dosen emails to and fro to figure that out
Oh, am i saying this in wrong place..

I'm geting here trough mxii.com/tron (GLL) so i asumed..nevermind
someone here must know where to transfer this

You might want to check if Spectator Mode is off, you can find it in Player Setup.

Number of ( human) players is set to ZERO, so it will not let you play before you spend some time browsing settings.While i found this motivating, most ppl dont, and what about those who just concluded that it is not working properly, and erased it

anyway this problem is no longer: 2.7 works fine, needs only few adjustments graphicwise for ppl like me ( windows user

, integrated 32graphics, slow conn).
