I can understand texting like that since a lot of non smart-phones don't have a qwerty key board and you have to press a number a few times to get the letter you want, though if you aren't in a rush it only takes an extra minute rally to finish a word, but if you have a full keyboard (like on a computer) there isn't much excuse to not type the whole word beyond laziness. cus ths jst lks lk u cnt fnd vwls

Funnily enough the word texting shows up as incorrectly spelled for Firefox's spell check.

Really? Statements such as this don't help your cause at all. Are you insinuating that America is the only country capable of socialisation? Even more so, are you saying that "texting" is a more social form than actually talking on the phone instead of typing? (Bearing in mind that you don't, or at least shouldn't, talk that way while actually speaking...) Or that real interaction with other human beings, not involving technology, doesn't count as socialising? =S I'm not trying to pick on things here, but thinking a little before you post is a really good idea =)

My phone doesn't have a qwerty keyboard, you have to push each key once, twice, or three times depending on the letter you want. I still write the whole words.
