texture maps

Post by edd »

Tank program:

I meant to say that id does'nt look like the dxf format takes any of the texture mapping with it, and I don't know how to do this yet in Blender, Infact I can't even get a good view of the tank in Blender! If you do the texture mapping let me know.

Steep learning curve for me.

Blender is a steep learning curve. THere are some good tutorials available, look for the castle one.

It's one of those programs where the learning curve is steep, but after you get it, it's really easy to work with.

new tank on its way!

Post by edd »

Hi Tank Program

a member of the Tron Sector forum posted these images and they are way better than my tank, so I am going to make a new model based on this. I will try to do it in blender so youo get all the textures, but maybe you will want to build one too.

Oscilloscope:

A fellow 'last starfighter' fan! Well the model is a bit rubbish in terms of detail and poly counts, I made it some years ago for somebody elses game, but I never had time to finish it, so I posted it incase someone wanted to improve on it.

Do you have a blender version of the TRON lightcycle?
With tires and body separated, to give them different colors?

Okay,

I couldn't wait and built a blender model myself.

Next thing to add is the flashes in the wall and the player name above the cycle. :D

And then I have to learn Cinema 4D to built a high poly model. :?
