Cycles 3D!

Post by sinewav »

Today I fired up Cycles 3D because I was curious to see how it handled spawn points. While playing, I thought it would be fun to make a Cycles 3D moviepack (with sounds). It was fun, as I expected. The rim wall texture is so wretchedly compressed I could not lift it from the game, but instead had to recreate it from scratch, THEN compress it so the graphic "felt" the same. I went to the Cycles 3D website to check out some screenshots when I saw Chris Haag is making a NEW Cycles 3D! There is a video. It has nice explosions (heh).

Whereas in Armagetron, the higher you set the AI IQ, the more likely they are to "spiral" in on themselves—only instead of a neat spiral it's those herky-jerky squiggles that are usually associated with multibinding spazzes.
