Got something that makes Armagetron look shiny? Post it here.

Ah, I finally locked down a look for this texture that's been giving me a rough time (though I might do one more remix). Also, coming soon is another theme that includes a new trail decal and a mashup of two previous bike skins.

EDIT: Last remix of this texture immediately below. This is the look I was going for originally but couldn't get it out.

The Bomber

This cycle model is designed for players that turn floor mirror intensity all the way up for those fat, juicy trails. The design is partly inspired by Pike's Donut, I remember several players mentioning they liked it because it was short and stubby. The Bomber has a high visibility marker across it's face and should look good even for players that have a high camera rise. To get the maximum effect you need a transparent shadow texture (included). Just make a "textures" folder in your arma home directory and drop it in there.

I first had this idea about three years ago but only got around to it today since I'm way into 3D modeling right now. Feel free to ask for any changes (it's not a model I'll use often so I'm not sure what it's weaknesses are). Or even ask for a custom model. I need the practice.

Another screenshot of The Bomber showing high-visibility markings on a dark trail. No more hiding!

Neat! A Bauhaus approach to lightcycle design, for the people who actually use them!

Some of the updated graphics in this thread are impressive.

Now it doesn't need a lot but these additions/updates would vastly improve the look/aesthetics of the game. :skull:
Is there any update on these getting added?

glTron comes with three artpacks that are easily converted to moviepacks. I remember Iceman had these on his site 20 years ago but those are long gone, so here they are (with moviesounds).
