Belly of the Beast

Post by Lucifer »

There's a new server on the grid. Apparently it's one of those fortress servers. Now we're going to answer the question that I just know is on everyone's mind.
Who is evil? Who is blind?
Blah. Ok, I failed to write a cheesy announcement. Belly of the Beast is running and open for beta clients of all shapes and sizes. New map with its own little twists, capture the flag, that sort of thing. Lemme know how it goes. ;)
A city of souls dying for peace
Welcome to the Belly of the Beast
Edit: Removed announcement status, this server isn't up anymore either.

Yeah, the map was made for 4 teams, and then zman said "Oops, only two are supported right now". Or something to that effect.

ALso, I noticed all the spawn points pointing in the wrong direction. You're supposed to face the wall opposite the mouth of your fort. Heh. Oops.

If you aren't complaining, you should give more information. ;) If you are complaining, you're not helping.

The error wasn't very specific: Fatal signal: Bus Error (SDL Parachute Deployed). I was running a newer build than beta2. After the crash I re-entered using beta2 and everything was fine.

During some period, CVS builds were incompatible with the map format the belly sends to clients, but that would not explain the crash. <Mantra>Can I have a recording?</Mantra>
