New skin for default cycle model

Post by k »

I was screwing around with Fireworks today cuz I was tired of looking at the ugly default cycle skin. :D It is by no means a work of art (mine that is). :o

K, I must say, these rock!

I had some idea that I wrote down to try but you have taken the 2 good ones from me, flames and shark teeth, was gonna use a photo of a B-52 all done up...

my other ideas for bike skins:

Borg Bike (Small Detailed Surface Areas/Slight Green accents)
Advanced Tron (Angular Features/Headlight/Taillight (Shrink image to allow light effect to "beam" outward))
Harley Skin
Cafe Racer Skin
Traditional Motorcycle Skin
Racecar Version (Jammed with stickers)
Enterprise Version (Battleship Gray w Red Starfleet Arrow and line/warp ncells)
Adult Version (I'll let your mind work on that one)

Other modification ideas:
mag/spoke rim wheels
wrap-around windshield (no transparent top)

thats about it, eveytime I try to get going on one of these my Photshop crashes...some bug I have to work out

I also think we should have a skin contest for the next release of advanced

:D Speaking of new wheels, I was actually working on some new ones yesterday. www.tirerack.com is a good place to go to get pics or rims. :D I hope you get your Photoshop issues worked out. Here are some wheels I was working on.

Maybe we need a new forum section called "Pimp My Ride" to put all the custom textures?

A few more. The rim itself is a separate bitmap so it can be resized if you like larger or smaller rims.
