New Map Structures [elevation]

Post by subliminal »

any chance of the maps reaching a new "height", elevation? Maybe planes and ramps we can move upward with? Maybe the ability to jump off of them?

I don't think jumping would be very good, except on race servers, but i was thinking the same thing...

I wouldn't be very interested in a button that makes my cycle jump, but I would like to be able to drive it off a cliff. :)

Heh, those are pretty twisted. I was thinking more along the lines of driving off a cliff and landing in the middle of someone's fortress zone... (If you can't go through the wall, try going over it!)

I was thinking that if you went over a jump, where would your trail go?

think about it...

Configurable? Either it gets traced in the air for other people to hit, gets traced on the floor underneath it (which would just be sick), or you have no trail when you have no contact with the ground.

Yeah, it's only been suggested a million times already. Other things have priority.

Everything else that has been discussed recently. Apart from maybe ingame avatars.

I think it should make a filled-in arc. A taller wall, so other people can't jump over where you jumped.
