Of course it's flat. It's a rectangle. But the current one seems to have some sort of depth.

Great..on a movie pack. If you used the original cycles for the original game
I can see a replacement.

You mean the one in the default moviepack? Yah, it has some layers and translucency going on. A floor extending into the distance and perhaps some dropped shadows might give klax's more depth.

Btw: Light Cycles :)

I meant the non-moviepack one, but it applies to the moviepack one as well.

My photoshop skills aren't great, and I also think it looks flat. I was about to delete it from the hard drive and I though: let's post it ;p

Oscilloscope: yep, the 3 lightcycles are taken from a frame of the movie. if you zoom in the yellow one you will see artifacts because of divx lol

I see artifacts everywhere, also due to JPEG, without zooming in or anything. That's why I always post PNGs.

Maybe I could whip something up, maybe something better looking even, or possibly an animation.

Interested?

Oh. When I have moviepack off, I don't get a title screen—the title.jpg in the textures folder, with the lightning. Rather, I would get that big KGN logo. Damn thing is ugly, especially spinning in the corner while playing. So I just replaced it with my own 'Oscilloscope' logo. :)
